Cherubs Pre-School in Gidea Park

We are situated in the Friends Meeting House, just off Main Road and Balgores Lane.

The setting has the use of a bright and airy classroom, together with a large hall which we use for physical activities. We also have a small outdoor area which we access daily, using free flow.

Cherubs acknowledge that whatever age children join our preschool they will have a range of different experiences and varied interests and skills. We aim to extend children’s skills and develop their confidence and build on what they already know in a safe and caring environment. Children are able to learn through play, building on existing social skills and relate to adults outside the family circle.

Meet Our Mascot

Terry

Terry the puppet supports children’s learning and development in a fun and interactive way. He captures children’s attention during our circle and story times and is a very good communicator and listener. Terry promotes and encourages communication and language development. Children use him to role play and explore imaginary scenarios. Terry often needs help and someone to care for him which helps develop empathy, as well as social and emotional development.

"5 Stars isn't enough for such an exceptional setting. Both my children attended Cherubs Pre School and I can honestly say after 5 years the team will be greatly missed. My children excelled in all areas and achieved many new skills whilst attending Cherubs. The staff are absolutely phenomenal and go above and beyond as their roles of practitioners.
